Hi there, I’m Tia!
I’m the founder and lead aesthetician here at Your Skin Magician. The first thing you need to know about me is I am a BIG believer in the law of attraction. I believe in the inherent goodness of the universe, and I am open to receiving and sending all of it.
I am a pretty chatty gal; if you follow me on Instagram, you will get to see this as I share quite openly and often on my stories. I’m a Scorpio (October), I have a toddler named Blu, and she is the absolute light of my life and the fire that drives me every day. I’m also a big reality T.V. fan (not even ashamed of it) – from The Housewives to Southern Charm and everything in between; I watch it all.
I always knew I wanted to make a positive impact both in my community and beyond, and I feel so blessed to have found my place. By combining my love for people and skincare, I am able to leave my clients feeling better than I found them in their Mind, Body, and Skin.

For many years I struggled with my skin, with many appointments, products and the emotional toll it took on me. I strongly feel that my love for helping others with their skin comes from the many times I felt completely broken by the state of my skin. Because of my own struggles with my skin, I am dedicated to providing a warm, welcoming space for all those looking to start their skin health journey. Whether you have acne (like me), rosacea, advanced signs of ageing, hyperpigmentation, or you would just like to feel refreshed and relaxed – I am here to serve you.
In order to best serve you, I am a licensed and multi-certified aesthetician. I specialize in facial and laser skin treatments in Nanaimo, BC. I have a passion for helping clients achieve their skin goals and feel confident in their own skin. As a result, I have dedicated my career to providing top-quality skin treatments that are safe, effective, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.
I hold certifications in various skin treatments, including Cutera XEO treatments such as Laser Genesis, IPL, Nd:YAG, and more. As well as Bela MD, Hydrofacial, Chemical Peels, LED Light Therapy, Dermaplaning, and various other modalities. I continue to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques to provide my clients with the best possible care. My ultimate goal is to provide my clients with a personalized and relaxing experience that not only improves their skin’s appearance but also enhances their overall well-being.
